Routine- a way to get in the zone!
Do you find it difficult to enter the zone? Do you get easily distracted during critical meetings or when you're up against a deadline? These circumstances can be extremely aggravating. Wouldn't it be fantastic if there was a button you could press that put you in peak performance mode right away?
Good news: it's not as difficult as it appears! You may summon your greatest performance by designing and practicing a routine. Consider a time, circumstance, or activity when you have complete and peaceful focus – moments when you feel as though nothing in the world matters. Assume you're swimming at the moment. Remember this when you build a four- or five-step regimen to prepare for this activity. Let's assume you take a small snack, conduct 15-minute relaxation exercises or another form of meditation, stretch for 10 minutes, and listen to music you enjoy. Then get in the pool!
If you do this exercise every day, you will develop a strong physiological link between the practice and the quality you produce in the pool thereafter. As this pattern becomes second nature for you, you can apply it to your work life by performing it before critical meetings or tasks.
Finally, once you've mastered your regimen, you can compress it into a more manageable time limit. We don't always have a moment before such an important event to complete our routine. However, by tweaking the processes, we may make our routine more adaptable.
To have even more stamina for longer, swap the light snack for a bigger meal, cut the relaxation, or stretch outside a minute and listen to songs on your drive to work.
