Teach your kids the definition of perfection!

We try to nurture kids with all the life lessons we know and with what we have lived all our lives. Other than giving them the best education they need to live a successful life, it’s equally crucial to teach them how to pass this stage without getting under the pressure yet develop a holistic personality. The best way to do this is by nurturing them in an environment where losing doesn’t affect their motivation and the definition of perfection is not stringent.

What is perfection? And how should we teach this to our kids? The word ‘perfection’ is always associated with something which is without fault. We teach our kids to be perfect in what they learn and do. However, what we forget is to also make them comfortable in their imperfections. For example- kids take more time to learn something, fail in the beginning, or strive hard to overcome the challenges. In all these instances, as parents and educators we need to comfort them in all circumstances and stages on their way to a successful life and ensure them they are perfect even when they are just trying to be one.

Kids can be working hard and yet be perfect. All they need to learn is to be focused and not let any failure affect them. This makes them perfect too. Teaching kids to be just “perfect” restricts them from trying and setting such unrealistic standards that are pressuring. Therefore, the true definition of perfection that parents can teach is to be true and focused on their goals and try to achieve them.

With LogiQminds Classroom experience kids do not only learn about the skills but also strive to work hard and be perfect in the same. Check LogiQminds for more information.
